I may have found a solution to part of the internet connection problem. It turns out that the wireless signal in the library, where I’ve been trying with great difficulty to connect, gets a weak signal. But the signal in front of the English Pub (The Pig and Whistle) is much stronger so I’m using that now even though the pub is located in a very dangerous part of the ship -- next to the Ben & Jerry’s ice cream shop. (For the record, I haven’t had any yet.)
Yesterday was dress-up formal night for dinner so everyone was strutting around in their finest attire, gentlemen in tuxedos and ladies in formal gowns. Neither of us brought truly formal clothes, but we did bring some dressy things so we looked pretty good. And formal night always means some kind of theatrical spectacular in La Scala, which was quite entertaining, as usual.
So far so good, I’ve done my treadmill time every day and I’m quite proud of myself. My sister has also put her daily time at the fitness center, so she also feels righteous.
